TITLE:	Approve Donation from North Fort Myers Civic Association

I.	MOTION REQUESTED
	A) Approve the Donation Agreement between Lee County and the North Fort Myers Civic Association, Inc., in the amount of $10,000 to be used towards the purchase of a livestock scale for the Lee Civic Center Complex primarily for the SWFL Ag Expo to benefit the participants of 4-H and FFA. B) Approve Budget Resolution in the amount of $10,000 and amend the FY 23/24 budget accordingly.

II.	ITEM SUMMARY
	Approves accepting a donation, in the amount of $10,000, from the North Fort Myers Civic Association, Inc. The funding will be used to purchase a livestock scale to be used at the Lee Civic Center Complex. This scale will be used primarily at the SWFL Ag Expo to benefit the participants of 4-H and FFA.

		The North Fort Myers Civic Association, Inc., is interested in promoting programs that are beneficial for youth, their families and the community. They recognizes 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers of America) for their efforts in helping develop and teach young people positive life skills while simultaneously promoting leadership in agriculture.
