| | | | | | | | | I. | MOTION REQUESTED | | | A) Approve Purchase Agreement with Barnhart Properties, LLC and James M. McCabe PA, to acquire Parcel 109 (+/-10,977 square feet fee simple) in the amount of $26,000, for the future widening of Sunshine Boulevard North, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The property is located at 3101 Sunshine Boulevard North, Lehigh Acres;
B) Authorize Chair to execute the Purchase Agreement on behalf of the Board;
C) Authorize payment of fees and costs, estimated at $2,500, to complete the transaction; and
D) Authorize County Lands to handle and accept all documentation necessary to complete the transaction. |

The owner is willing to sell the property to the County for $26,000. This vacant residential lot is on the northerly right-of-way of Sunshine Boulevard North, at the intersection with 31st Street West. The land can be utilized for future expansion of the roadway corridor. Acquiring the lot prior to residential development will also provide a significant cost savings to the County.
