| | | | | | | | | A) | Board Action and Other History | | | Procurement Management advertised Single Source No. SS240437DSG from June 27, 2024, to July 18, 2024, asking any firms with the ability to provide this service to contact Lee County. Procurement received no responses. |
| | | | | | | | | D) | Analysis | | | Emerson LLLP is the direct supplier, sole designer, manufacturer, and servicing entity for Rosemount products in the State of Florida. Products will be deemed out of warranty if ancillary equipment associated with the installations of said products is done by anyone other than the aforementioned representative or unauthorized replacement parts are used.
The instruments are used at water and wastewater plants to measure chemical and physical properties of water in the treatment process. The information the instruments collect is required and used for FDEP compliance.
The analyzers are all integrated by Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for real-time management and compliance, and LCU needs to maintain sufficient stock of analyzers to meet operational needs. Staff anticipates the need to increase the estimated annual spend from $53,841 to $95,000 to account for increased number of assets from new development and increased costs for equipment, supplies and services.
