A. Approve Single Source No. SS240218JBD for the purchase of Yokogawa manufactured parts, equipment, and materials for water and wastewater treatment plant operations, on an as needed basis from Classic Controls, Inc., in the not to exceed amount of $200,000.00.
B. Authorize the County Manager or designee to execute any documents necessary to utilize the single source purchase on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.

Secures Classic Controls, Inc. as the single source provider of Yokogawa equipment and parts to support flow meters, gauges, analyzers, digital controls, signal isolators, and displays for all water and wastewater treatment facilities. This equipment is used at all water and wastewater treatment facilities for chemical feed systems, process flow, and treatment monitoring which is required by the Safe Drinking Water Act and Florida Administrative Code. Classic Controls, Inc. is the only authorized distributor of Yokogawa parts and equipment in the State of Florida. Current expenditures are not to exceed $200,000.00. Total expenditures for the prior twelve-month period were $148,000.00.

Procurement Management advertised Single Source No. SS240218JBD from February 21, 2024, to March 12, 2024, asking any firms with the ability to provide this service to contact Lee County. Procurement received no responses. Classic Controls, Inc. is the only authorized distributor in Florida to provide Yokogawa equipment and parts used by Lee County Utilities for flow systems and controls throughout the water and wastewater facilities.
