| | | | | | | | | I. | MOTION REQUESTED | | | A) Approve piggyback PB240016NAT purchase from Piggyback No. PB210226NAT to utilize pricing on Omnia Partners Contract No. R2001401 for HVAC Equipment, Installation, Services, and Related Products with Daikin Applied Americas Inc. for the purchase of four (4) roof-top units (RTUs) and turnkey installation services in the amount of $177,270.00. |

| | | | | | | | | II. | ITEM SUMMARY | | | Approves the piggyback purchase and installation of 4 Daikin HVAC roof-top units for the Elections warehouse in the amount of $177,270.00. The units will replace those installed in 2009 that are at the end of their useful lives. The units are not operating at their full capacity, require maintenance on a regular basis, and some replacement parts have been discontinued.
A market analysis was completed for this purchase, and the labor rates have been found to be fair and reasonable when compared to similar cooperative contracts. This planned and budgeted project will be funded through the General Fund. |

Previously, three out of seven existing roof-top units were replaced because they failed. The remaining four units are currently due for replacement. The units are not operating at their full capacity, require maintenance on a regular basis, and some replacement parts have been discontinued. |
