Approve Sole Source No. SS230630JBD for the purchase of diagnostic, support, service, repair, parts, and replacement of BECS controllers, Yaskawa variable frequency drives, and ChlorKing NEXGEN salt generators to maintain Lee County Parks and Recreation aquatic facilities, on an as needed basis, for a period of one-year, from Commercial Energy Specialists, Inc., in the not to exceed amount of $90,000.
B. Authorize the County Manager or designee to execute any documents necessary to utilize the sole source purchase on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. |

| | | | | | | | | II. | ITEM SUMMARY | | | Approves the sole source purchase of BECS, Yaskawa, & ChlorKing equipment, OEM parts, maintenance & repairs from Commercial Energy Specialists, Inc. as needed to maintain the twelve BECS pool controllers, five Yaskawa drives, and five ChlorKing NEXGEN salt generators at Parks and Recreation aquatic facilities. Funding is included in the annual adopted budget.
Commercial Energy Specialists, Inc. is the only authorized distributor for BECS automated pool chemical controllers, Yaskawa drives, and ChlorKing NEXGEN salt generator equipment. |

Commercial Energy Specialists, Inc. is BECS Technology sole source for sales, service, and warranty administration in the Florida and Caribbean region, the sole source for Yaskawa service and parts, and sole distributor for ChlorKing products in the State of Florida.
