| | | | | | | | I. | MOTION REQUESTED | | Case No. VAC2019-00019. Conduct a public hearing to adopt a resolution to: a) approve the vacation of the public interest in the platted and constructed portion of 3rd Street Right-of-Way (65 feet wide) in the plat of Page Park as recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 92, Public Records of Lee County, Florida, lying south of South Road and north of the existing IDD canal right of way and, b) to accept replacement utility easements for Lee County Utilities and for other public and private utilities having a need for a replacement easement. |

| | | | | | | | II. | ITEM SUMMARY | | Extinguishes the public interest and closes and discontinues public use of the constructed roadway to allow the creation of a unified building site for the proposed expansion of Evangelical Christian School. There were no objections from the public utility providers and no other affected property owners.

| | | | | | | | | D) | Analysis | | | The completed petition to vacate, VAC2019-00019, was submitted by Evangelical Christian School who propose to create a unified building site for expansion of the existing facilities.
Staff has reviewed the Petition to Vacate (VAC2019-00019) together with letters of no objection from public utility providers.
There are no objections to the requested vacation and no other affected property owners.
The vacation of the portion of the platted right of way will not alter existing utility conditions. Replacement easements are being held in trust and will be executed at the time of approval of the petition to vacate.
The vacation of the portion of the platted right of way will not alter existing drainage as any improvements or alterations to the existing conditions would require development order approval.
Lee County DOT has reviewed the proposed vacation and has offered no objection.
