A)   Award Request for Proposal No. RFP19040MRH, Custodial Services for Lee County Sports Parks and Stadiums, to the following vendors for an initial period of one year to provide custodial services at County sports parks and stadiums, as approved in the departments’ annual adopted budgets:  Franky Tisdale Cleaning, Inc. and Prather Enterprises, Inc.

B)   Authorize the Chair to execute the contract documents on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.

C)   Authorize the County Manager or designee to add or delete work, locations or services as needed and to execute any documents necessary for these changes.

Awards contracts to Franky Tisdale Cleaning, Inc. and Prather Enterprises, Inc. to provide custodial services at County sports parks and stadiums for an initial period of one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Total expenditures for these services during Fiscal Year 2017 -2018 were approximately $180,984.85.

On November 2, 2018, Procurement Management advertised RFP190040MRH, Custodial Services for Lee County Sports Parks and Stadiums, to obtain proposals for custodial services at county sports parks and stadiums on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. On the proposal deadline of December 3, 2018, Procurement Management received two proposals.  An evaluation meeting was conducted on December 18, 2018, during which the evaluation committee considered criterion as listed in the solicitation request: firm history, qualifications, experience, plan of approach, references, and personnel.  After evaluating the proposals submitted by the firms, it was the consensus of the committee to recommend both firms for the second evaluation phase: Franky Tisdale Cleaning, Inc. and Prather Enterprises, Inc.  The committee recommended each facility be awarded to the qualified firm that supplied the lowest pricing at each location. Total expenditures for these services for Fiscal Year 2017 – 2018 were approximately $180,984.85.
