TITLE:	Approve Petition to Vacate at 819 Rush Avenue, Lehigh Acres, FL

MOTION REQUESTED

Case No. VAC2019-00001. Conduct a public hearing to adopt a resolution approving vacation of the public interest in the 12’ platted public utility easement centered on the common property lot line between Lots 22 and 23, being a part of Block 5, Unit 2, of that certain plat of Units 1 through 12, Section 19, Township 44S, Range 27 E, A Subdivision of Lehigh Acres, as recorded in Plat Book 15, Page 26 of the Public Records of Lee County, Florida. (Strap # 19-44-27-02-00005.0220)

II.	ITEM SUMMARY
	Extinguishes the public interest in the unimproved public utility easement between platted lots at 819 Rush Avenue in Lehigh Acres to remove encumbrances to create a unified building site for a proposed residence. There were no objections from the public utility providers and no other affected property owners.

		The completed petition to vacate, VAC2019-00001, was submitted by Petitioners Garfield E. and Juliet R.A. Young, who propose to remove encumbrances to create a unified building site for a proposed residence. Staff has reviewed the Petition to Vacate,VAC2019-00001, together with letters of no objection from Public Utility Providers. There are no objections to the requested vacation and no other affected property owners. The vacation of the portion of the platted public utility easement will not alter existing drainage or utility conditions.
